Floorplan

E Floor

E floor (refurbished in 2013) is the only mixed (both mens' and womens' rooms) floor of the hall. Its basement hosts the laundry rooms and the main library complete with printer and 8 computers. E floor has the least amount of rooms for any floor, as much of the east side of E floor is cut off for essential storage and maintenance as well as the dining room (accessible through D floor). E floor residents find this small size as an advantage, as it is known for developing the most vibrant and close knit community of any floor in the hall.

D Floor

D floor (refurbished in 2012) is a womens' only floor containing the main entrance, both TV rooms, the giant and historic Common Room, the entrance to the dining room, the Head Warden's Flat, and offices for the Wardens, Resident Services Managers, and the Porter. It also has the largest kitchen of all of the floors. D floor is well known as the place to be for the big events in the common room, for relaxing in the TV room and for important administrative duties in the offices in the entrance hallways. While tons of action happens on D floor, thick walls and quiet time restrictions keep sleeping and studying easy. D floor is best known for its many large meeting places on the floor, making it the rendezvous point of the hall.

C Floor

C floor (refurbished in 2014) is a womens' only floor known for its two study rooms. Simply one floor above ground level, the Green Room (named for the colour of the walls) faces the Old Course and West Sands for a stunning North Sea view that stretches for miles. The more spacious and often less crowded Blue Room faces the Cabbage Patch and features a fantastic view of Cabbage Patch up into Market Street and the town beyond. Its hallways are well known for seeing late night study sessions quietly making their way back to their rooms elsewhere in the hall. Its also known to host on its west side original doors from its time as an 1800s hotel.

B Floor

B floor is the largest floor and the only mens' only floor in the hall, B floor has a reputation for the most astounding views as it has a large section facing the West Sands and Old Course region high above any other buildings in the area.

A Floor

A floor is a womens' only floor and the smallest floor by area in the hall. A floor is known for stunning views and a constant debate on whether or not to use the elevator or stairs to get to the top. Its kitchen has the best view in the entire hall while windows on either side can see over the tops of all buildings that surround it, creating an always scenic viewing experience.
